Manage all aspects of your organisations Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's)
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) give operators the ability to record daily in store against specific activities.
KPI’s can be created, edited and deleted via the Charity Suite portal. Once the KPI has been created, it can then be used to create a KPI Value record for the day, which the APP can use to capture the daily data against that KPI.
It is also through the portal that target values can be set up against each KPI and if necessary, managers can input KPI values, in the same way that the APP inputs KPI values.
The portal also has the facility to create a KPI Profile, into which KPI’s can be added and this KPI Profile can then be assigned to specific shops or locations.
Selecting KPI's from the left side main menu you can see all the KPI aspects in your organisation.
New KPI's can be created using the action button. Should you have lots of KPI's you can use the filters available on value Type and Collection Method search, should you wish to limit the results displayed in the table.
When creating each KPI, the Name, Value Type and UI Data Collection Method are mandatory fields. Value Type can be : INTEGER or DECIMAL and UI Data Collection Method can be : ADHOC or INCREMENTAL and are selected from the lists available.
KPI's can be made available to certain operator’s through the use of permissions based on the operator's role. Setting permissions on the KPI are optional.
Once you have added the KPI details you can save the changes by pressing SUBMIT or undo by pressing RESET which will reset the form allowing you to start fresh with the new KPI creation.
You can select to VIEW a KPI from the manage KPI table, and subsequently EDIT or DELETE the KPI via the action buttons.
All the details of the KPI can be edited. Once you have edited the KPI details as necessary, you can save the changes by pressing SUBMIT or undo by pressing RESET which will reset the form to the original KPI details before any changes made by you.
The action of deleting a area will be confirmed before being committed to the database. KPI's can only be deleted if they do not have any KPI Values associated with them. You are able to see the KPI Values associated with the KPI, by pressing the "VIEW KPI VALUES" button from the view KPI screen, which will direct you to the KPI Values tableview with the KPI set in the KPI Filter. All KPI Values associated to a KPI must be deleted before you are able to delete the KPI.

In order to track the KPI's, a specific value (which can be an value that an operator or manager inputs, or a target value to track actuals against) and date must be setup for that specific KPI.

The portal also has the facility to create a KPI Profile, into which KPI’s can be added and this KPI Profile can then be assigned to specific shops or locations.
In order to add KPI's to a profile, the profile builder is used. There is a TAB for the KPI's available from the main APP menu and a TAB for the KPI's available from within the APP chekout menu. Any unselected KPI's can be checked individually, or the check box at the top of the column used to highlight all unselected KPI's and the arrows are used to move those checked to the selected area. Likewise, if you would like to remove KPI's from the profile, the relevant KPI is checked under the selected KPI area and the arrows are used to remove those checked from the profile and back into the unselected KPI area.
There is also the ability, from within the selected KPI area, to position the KPI's using the up and down arrows, or the double arrows to move selected KPI's to the very top or the very bottom of the list. There is a helpful description of the function of each arrow when you hover the mouse over the arrow.
From the list of KPI's shown in the KPI table, you can VIEW the KPI's details, access the PROFILE BUILDER and EDIT or DELETE the KPI profile.
