Manage all aspects of your Contact Organisations
Contact Organisations can be any organisation which provide financial benefit to Persons' using your organisation such as support or referral agencies. Any financial support they offer can be tracked against a Person and their Credit Account.
Select Contact Organisation from the menu on the left hand side of the screen. This will allow you to view the Contact Organisations data held in your organisation. There are fields available to filter your search and thus limit the data returned in the table.
Some fields are mandatory fields when creating a new contact organisation and must be completed before the Charity Suite Portal will allow submission of the form.
The optional Scheme data can be selected from the already entered schemes for your organisation in the database or a new scheme can be entered. Duplicates are not allowed.
As well as gathering information pertaining to the contact organisation, if the Primary Contact Person is already known they can be selected using the SELECT button, which will show a list of Persons currently held in your database. Search criteria can be used on the popup to find the primary contact persons details. Or a new primary contact person can be created using the CREATE button.
A list of Tags to be associated with this contact organisation can be selected from the list or created using the 'Create a New Tag' link, which opens a new tab/window for you to create a tag. See Create a Tag page. Once created, upon closing the tab/window, the new tag will be available in the Tag List box to select and associate with this Contact Organisation.
The Contact Organisation can have more than one Tag and are these can be added using the PLUS buttons.
The SELECT botton, on Primary Contact Person, takes you to the following screen, from which you are able to narrow the Person search by using the search criteria.
On viewing the Contact Organisation from the table, the Contact Organisation details can be edited or archived.
The action of archiving a Contact Organisation will be confirmed before being committed to the database. Any archived Contact Organisation will not be visible in the list tables.
The address of the contact organisation in the above has been verified as a valid PAF address (Royal Mail Postcode Address File) to improve delivery accuracy. This is shown by the green VERIFIED TICK next to the address details.
Should the address of any contact organisation not currently be verified, the user will be presented with the following message. To recfiy, the valid postcode should be entered into the address lookup and the contact organisation's address details updated to gain the verified green tick.
